Analisis Value Chain dalam Meningkatkan Efisiensi Biaya pada PTt Makassar Te�ne

Abstrak :
This study aims to analyze value chain with value chain analysis method in order to improve efficiency in PT Makassar Te’ne through observation and field analysis. A value chain analysis is an activities concept which is used to observe the cost management applied in a company. It is a reference to see any activities that can be eliminated or changed as a strategic solution to improve the cost efficiency.
The study’s findings show some potential activities to be changed. For instance, like in inbound logistic activity of raw material transport, machine utilization in production process. Also, in outbound logistic activity of manual machine utilization in packaging process, and supporting activity like in human resources management’s activity. These activities are modified to achieve efficiency without harming the quality of the products itself. By applying this analysis, PT Makassar Te’ne can possibly make a cost efficiency up to Rp 1.296.690.400 per year.
